Sampling inspection quality of LED lighting products and LED control devices in 2018

Recently, the website of the State Administration of Market Supervision issued an announcement on the state supervision and random inspection of product quality in 2018. The lighting products of China Lighting Association are summarized as follows.
2、 The unqualified rate of fixed general lamps was 4.2%
In 2018, 101 batches of fixed general lighting products produced by 97 enterprises in 6 provinces (cities) were randomly selected, of which 5 batches were suspected to have no CCC certificate and have been transferred to the local market supervision department for treatment. Among the 96 batches of products inspected, 4 batches of products were unqualified, and the unqualified discovery rate was 4.2%. The inspection focused on 7 items, such as anti electric shock protection, heat resistance, fire resistance and scratch resistance, and limit value. The unqualified items involve structure (retinal blue light hazard), heat resistance, fire resistance and scratch resistance, and the limit value.
3、 The unqualified detection rate of LED control device is 7.5%
In 2018, 47 batches of LED control device products produced by 44 enterprises in 7 provinces (autonomous regions and cities) were sampled, of which 7 batches were suspected to have no CCC certificate and have been transferred to relevant departments for treatment. Among the 40 batches of products produced by 37 enterprises inspected, 3 batches were unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 7.5%. The inspection was focused on 11 items of safety requirements. The unqualified items involve abnormal conditions, heat resistance, fire resistance and leakage resistance.
4、 The unqualified detection rate of movable general lamps was 10.9%
In 2018, 100 batches of portable general lighting products produced by 97 enterprises in 7 provinces (cities) were sampled, of which 8 batches were suspected to have no CCC certificate and have been transferred to relevant departments for treatment. Among the 92 batches of products inspected, 10 batches were unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 10.9%. In this spot check, 7 items such as structure, external and internal wiring, anti electric shock protection, durability test and thermal test of movable general lamps and lanterns were inspected. The unqualified items include structure, external and internal wiring, heat resistance, fire resistance and scratch resistance, and limit items.
